About Heyfield

We're building the front desk for the trades.

Heyfield is an AI receptionist for home service businesses that cannot afford to miss the next call. It answers, qualifies, books, and texts the owner a clean summary while the crew keeps working.

Why this exists

The old front desk was not built for people in the field.

Home service owners do not miss calls because they are careless. They miss calls because they are on ladders, under sinks, driving between jobs, or solving the customer problem already in front of them.

Voicemail asks the caller to wait. Generic answering services ask the owner to translate a message later. Heyfield is designed for the moment the phone rings: get the problem, decide urgency, book the slot, and give the owner the context without interrupting the job.

We are not trying to replace the owner's judgment. We are removing the missed-call gap before that judgment is needed.

Built around real call moments

The product starts where the owner actually is.

On a roof

You cannot stop mid-job to screen a sales call. Heyfield answers, qualifies, and only pulls you in when the call actually needs you.

Under a sink

The caller does not care that your hands are full. They care that someone picked up and booked the repair before they called the next result.

After hours

Weekend, holiday, and 2 AM emergency calls all get the same intake pattern, urgency label, and owner notification.

Operating standard

Specific, transparent, and useful under pressure.

That is the bar. A receptionist for the trades has to work when the owner is busy, the caller is impatient, and the job is worth real money.

Trade-specific before generic

The product is tuned around dispatch patterns for plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, locksmiths, roofers, garage door companies, landscapers, painters, and other home-service operators.

No mystery math

Pricing is published. Comparison pages show last-checked dates. Calculators explain the assumptions instead of hiding the model behind a lead form.

Built for busy owners

The core output is not another dashboard to babysit. It is a useful text: who called, what they need, how urgent it is, and what happened next.

Trust, not theater

We make the claims easy to inspect.

The site is intentionally blunt about pricing, product limits, and where competitors win. That is not a copywriting choice. It is how a small business owner should be able to buy software.
